Test Cake

This is a cake I did with a cake I had in the freezer and the leftover frosting from the weekend cake making. I wanted to personally test the editable paper and I just got the split piping bags and wanted to try out two colors at once. Jim (my husband)for those of you who didn't know that, printed a picture on editable paper. Now we get to try the paper and eat our cake too.

Ok we can have fun too. Husband made brownies for niece who was doing stand up comedy last night. So we printed the girls picture on the editable paper after covering them with choc. frosting. We attached fruit roll ups because they were all holding them in their interview they did.

Boy Scouts Cakes

I was asked to make a boy scout cake from a scout leader. He said he needed to feed 100and felt I would make it special, since I work for him and he see I try to make special cakes for the people at work. So I made two cakes one the boy scouts could enjoy the theme (camping) which is German choc. with choc. chips. Then the other one is a little more formal for the grownups, it is White with cream filling covered in fondant, the decals are edible paper. Happy 100th Birthday Boy Scouts. I enjoyed making these cakes and can't wait to deliver it.

Popcorn cake

Was asked to do a cake for a two year old. She was asked what do you want for your birthday, told her folks popcorn, so they asked me to make the cake. After looking at several pictures we came up with the tub. I started out with the large cake thinking I could build it up to make a big enough cake to feed 20 people. Well the cake pan took two cakes and I would of needed to do at least three pans or more to make it look like a real tub. I decided to go with the 9" pan and make a three layer tub. I covered it with white fondant, and put the red stripes on it which were spray painted white fondant. I wanted to personalize it so I made the heart with her name on it and the happy birthday and the two to add to the larger cake. The popcorn is two bags of popcorn with marshmallow and butter melted and poured over it. Can't wait to deliver it today and Auslyn's face expecially since there is left over popcorn her and her sister can eat. Sugar high. Sorry John.
