Deep Dish Pizza Cake

Pizza cake made for someone at work. This is a two layer Chocolate and white cake, I carved out the center of the top (white) cake so it would be lower, got to have lots of pizza crust. Frosted with chocolate frosting did not want to over do the fondant on this cake. So for the top middle of the pie I rolled out enough white fondant and air brushed it with red food coloring for the sauce. The pepperoni I colored white fondant with red food coloring and added strawberry flavoring, I then grated black and white fondant on top and rolled it into it, then I cut out the fondant into circles, now we have pepperoni that taste like strawberry, this is going to shock the taste buds. The bell peppers were rolled with yellow and green fondant and then cut and I just rolled up the black fondant and made circles to look like olives.

Wedding cake

This is a cake I just wasn't happy with I had to take it apart and revise the look. It was pretty easy. What did I learn even if you aren't getting paid and if you have to make a completely new cake don't settle. I didn't have to make a new cake just had to take apart and fill some holes but I think it turned out nice and am happier with it. I hope the newly married couple I made this for likes it. The second one was the one I wasn't happy with the first one is the revised cake.

Weasel Cake

This is a cake I made for a gathering with High School friends of my husband. They call themselves Weasels, it was a big hit, boy was I happy. I almost didn't do the weasel because it wasn't turning out the way I wanted. I walked away and came back to it about a half hour later and it just worked. I cut the weasel out of fondant and used food coloring to finish up the look. Without the weasel I don't think I would of got the reactions I was looking for.

Pumpkin cakes

How I improved, the first one was a two layer cake and wasn't that tall, my face didn't turn out as good as I planned, it stretched as I covered the cake. So the second one I made two bunt cakes and put them together and covered the area where I wanted the face. I cut out the face after I put the orange fondant on so it wouldn't stretch out when put it over the cake. I learned from the first one how to improve the look and I can't wait to do another one this Halloween. I learned even more from the second one.
